Responsibilities

Set up continuous integration and deployment pipelines

Maintain configuration management systems across the infrastructure

Write and manage infrastructure as code scripts

Operate the infrastructure and automation tools effectively

Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to achieve project goals

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of expertise in a related role

Deep understanding of cloud computing foundations

Good familiarity with core Azure resource types and services

Configuration and usage of Azure Managed Identity and service principals

Implementation of monitoring and analytics for Azure services with log analytics workspaces and app insights

Background in advanced system administration for Linux or Windows environments

Understanding of container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, LXC, BSD Zones, etc

Skills in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, TeamCity, GoCD, Travis, CodePipeline, or Bamboo

Competency in coding or scripting for automation using Bash, Python, PowerShell, Java, .NET, or similar languages

Background in IaC tools such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, or others

Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken

Nice to have

Hands-on knowledge in deploying and configuring applications in Azure App Services (containerized or from source code) with key vault integration

Understanding of landing zone structures, including platform and application considerations

Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID for identity and access management, synchronization with on-premise AD, Privileged Identity Management, and Conditional Access

Proficiency in implementing secure network connectivity using private or service endpoints and configuring external access to Azure infrastructure with VPN gateways

Familiarity with hybrid connectivity implementation using Virtual WAN, VPN gateways, or ExpressRoute

Considerable expertise in configuration management using tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or SaltStack
