Lead DW/BI Software Engineer / Architect

Big Data & Analytics is the data consulting and engineering arm of our Center of Excellence. Hundreds of data engineers and architects build end-to-end data & analytics solutions: from strategy and architecture through technical design, proof of concept, and full-scale implementation. We work with clients across healthcare, finance, manufacturing, retail, and energy industries.

We hold top-level partnerships with major cloud providers and collaborate with technology leaders such as AWS, GCP, Microsoft, Databricks, Snowflake, Confluent, and others.

IF YOU ARE:

• Experienced with 5+ years in data warehouses, ETL, and BI solutions development
• Proficient in creating visualizations using at least two BI tools such as Power BI and ideally Tableau, Looker, MicroStrategy, Sigma, or Sisense
• Skilled in eliciting business requirements and designing effective dashboards and workbooks
• Familiar with optimizing SQL queries for performance and working with analytics databases like SQL Server, Snowflake, Azure Synapse, Oracle, and Teradata
• Adept in translating customer requirements into technical tasks, estimating efforts, and leading data engineering teams
• Experienced in modern data and analytics stacks and architectural patterns
• Knowledgeable in designing and implementing enterprise-scale data solutions using the Big Data technology stack in Azure
• Confident in leading a team of DWH/BI engineers toward successful project delivery
• Effective as a customer-facing consultant, with experience presenting architectural decisions and proposals
• Familiar with ELT orchestration tools like Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Apache Airflow, Informatica, or Talend (would be a plus)
• Experienced in pre-sales engagement (nice to have)
