Senior Data Engineer

Anthill’s trusted partner, CCC Intelligent Solutions Inc., has picked Bulgaria as its first European location for building an R&D center. CCC has been continuously pioneering solutions that power better decisions for insurers, automotive manufacturers, and collision repairers.

As a member of the engineering team, you will work closely with product owners, information engineers, data scientists and play a key role in designing and building state-of-the-art data platforms supporting the company’s predictive models of training and inferencing tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Build end to end data flows from sources to fully curated and enhanced data sets.
• Modify, maintain and support existing data pipelines to provide business continuity and fulfill product enhancement requests.
• Provide technical expertise to diagnose errors from production support teams
• Participate in team tasks for architecture, design and analysis
• Be a mentor and be supportive to growth of other Engineers

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with building, maintaining, and supporting complex data flows
• Proficiency in Python and Pyspark
• Hands-on experience in AWS
• Experience in Apache Airflow to orchestrate and schedule complex data flows
• Ability to use SQL for data profiling and data validation
• Experience in Unix commands and scripting
