About the job:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced SENIOR EXPERT BANK CARDS APPLICATIONS to join our team, focusing on card payment systems. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in payment systems, including card transaction processes, authorization, settlement, and reconciliation, and will work closely with stakeholders to identify business requirements, develop solutions, and ensure the smooth integration of payment systems.

The main responsibilities for the position are:

• Process Analysis: Analyze existing card payment processes and card systems, identify pain points, and recommend improvements or automation opportunities to enhance efficiency, security, and user experience.

• Solution Design & Implementation: Work with IT technical teams to design solutions that align with business needs. Participate in the implementation and testing of payment solutions.

• Payment Systems Expertise: Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes (Card scheme mandates etc.), and new card payment technologies (EMV, NFC, mobile wallets) to ensure that the organization’s card payment systems remain competitive and compliant.

• Stakeholder Communication: Engaging with business, compliance, and external partners effectively and pro-actively. Working effectively across multiple IT and business teams

• Testing & Validation: Develop and execute test plans for card payment systems to ensure functionality, performance, and security meet the specified requirements. Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and resolve any issues identified during testing.

• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation on business requirements, technical specifications, and process flows. Provide regular status updates and reports.

• Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Support the resolution of issues related to card payment systems, including transaction failures and reconciliation errors.

• Time Management & Prioritization: Handling multiple projects and support issues efficiently.

Requirements:

• University degree in Computer science, Economics, Informatics or Electronics

• Good in English – written and spoken

• Good knowledge of card processing (authorizations, clearing and settlement etc.)

• Good knowledge of card payment Systems (Front end and Back End) specifics

• Good knowledge of Card Payment Systems processes and regulations

• Good knowledge of Bank business processes

• Knowledge in DBs development – MS SQL, Oracle

• Experience in Card Systems and Applications

• Knowledge of system integration, APIs and payment processing technologies
