Data Analyst – Advanced Data Solutions in Financial Domain

PODIX is a Bulgarian IT service company focused on offshore/nearshore software development services. We cover a diverse range of technologies in various industries – from creative and design to front-end and mobile development and back-end integration, testing and delivery.

We are looking for a seasoned Data Analyst to become part of a high-impact initiative focused on enhancing analytical capabilities and data reliability across several units within a leading financial organization.

This position centers around the processing and interpretation of large-scale transactional datasets, with the goal of improving data accuracy and supporting intelligent automation in both operational and analytical platforms.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Examine complex data collections to assess structure, detect anomalies, and ensure data integrity
• Assist in shaping business logic and data rules in collaboration with engineering and product stakeholders
• Convert analytical outcomes into practical recommendations and communicate results to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Contribute to the development and automation of data workflows using tools like Python and Git
• Work closely with engineering and data science colleagues to onboard new data sources and optimize data tools (knowledge of GCP/BigQuery is advantageous)

What We’re Looking For:

• At least five years of relevant professional experience acquired post-degree
• Deep understanding of techniques for data validation, profiling, and quality control
• Background in working with structured financial or transactional datasets
•  Solid command of Python and Git in the context of data engineering and analysis
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Experience in cloud-based platforms like BigQuery or familiarity with financial data infrastructures would be considered a plus
