Mobile QA Engineer (Manual)

As a Mobile QA Engineer (Manual), you will be associated with the local development team and work as a team to oversee the testing of the applications. You should be able to work in a fast-moving agile environment and be capable of supporting parallel releases.

Responsibilities:

• Review designs and technical specifications and translate them into test-cases maximizing test coverage.
• Perform Functional, Regression, Acceptance tests against different iOS and Android devices.
• Work closely with Engineering and QA teams to establish test methodologies and best practices to ensure that the highest quality software is deployed safely and quickly.
• Execute test cases and log bugs into the bug tracking system following QA standards.
• Communicate with Dev and Product team members daily.

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in manual QA, preferably in mobile app development.
• Good understanding of QA methodologies, testing life cycle, and defect management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze technical specifications in-depth
• Hands-on experience with Android and iOS platforms.
• Familiarity with tools like TestRail/X-Ray, Jira, Confluence, Charles Proxy, Firebase Crashlytics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A keen eye for detail and passion for great mobile user experiences.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, Agile environment.
• Fun, positive attitude with great communication skills and a healthy desire for collaboration

Would be considered as an advantage:

• Experience with API testing tools like Postman.
• Familiarity with mobile automation concepts or tools (Appium/Selenium) – even if not hands-on.
• Understanding of release management and CI/CD processes.
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Basic networking knowledge.
• Passion for music, games, social experiences.
