We are seeking an experienced quality engineer for our Automotive team to lead our Functional Safety efforts in automotive software development and provide guidance on A-SPICE (Automotive SPICE) process improvement. The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of A-SPICE (Automotive SPICE) and ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) standards, and bring expertise in evaluating the design integrity and Functional Safety considerations of automotive systems.
Job Description:
Provide Functional Safety expertise to ensure that our automotive software products meet regulatory requirements from ISO 26262 standard;
Conduct gap analyses against A-SPICE (Automotive SPICE) requirements to identify areas for process improvement and recommend corrective actions;
Participate in the development of automotive software projects, focusing on ensuring that Functional Safety considerations are integrated into the design from concept through delivery;
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop test plans, execute testing, and analyze results to verify compliance with A-SPICE and Functional Safety standards;
Develop and maintain documentation required for A-SPICE and Functional Safety certification.
Participate in the development of risk assessments, design reviews, and other quality-related activities to ensure that our products meet or exceed regulatory requirements;
Provide training and support to developers on A-SPICE and Functional Safety best practices.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field;
At least 5 years of experience in software development for the automotive industry with a focus on A-SPICE and Functional Safety;
Кnowledge of A-SPICE (Automotive SPICE) standard;
Strong understanding of Functional Safety principles and ISO 26262 standard;
Familiarity with automotive industry standards such as MISRA C/C++, CERT or HIS;
Experience with software design, development, and testing, including Agile development methodologies;
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills;
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment;
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;
Familiarity with programming languages such as C/C++, Java, or Python is advantageous;
Good command of English, both written and spoken.
