AI Engineer

Are you eager to dive into the deep end of AI and move beyond just consuming models – to actually building them?

We’re looking for an AI Engineer who’s keen to get their hands dirty in solving complex R&D challenges, architecting intelligent systems, and developing robust Python-based frameworks for scalable AI services.

You’ll be joining a flexible, multidisciplinary team that includes a visionary VP of AI & Data Solutions, several ace Python Developers with a physics background who fell in love with AI, a savvy Linguist fluent in syntax, semantics and annotation pipelines, and an even savvier Knowledge Manager with a knack for meaning and order.

What You’ll Be Up To:

• Design, implement and maintain AI-based pipelines for tasks like information extraction, narrative analysis, semantic search, and more;
• Train all types of classification models and integrate them in production systems;
• Contribute to the internal frameworks that keep our models trained, evaluated, versioned and humming in production;
• Keep up with the recent developments in AI (papers, open-source releases, new architectures) and bring relevant innovations into our stack;
• Our day-to-day tools of the trade? Jira and GitLab – so familiarity with these will smooth your transition.

Skills That Will Give You An Edge:

• Hands-on experience with pandas, scikitLearn, spaCy, transformers, LangChain and their many cousins;
• An in-depth understanding of Large Language Models – because, let’s face it, right now they’re essential;
• A keen interest in MLOps – from tracking experiments to building reproducible pipelines (strong bonus!);
• Fluent in Python – you write clean, modular code, test it like a skeptic, and document it like someone else might actually read it;
• You’re naturally curious and always eager to learn new things.
