Project Description

The DevOps Deployment Engineer will be responsible for installing and upgrading client’s application in a hosted environment. The role is part of a team of technical experts that runs and manages application and infrastructure operations for the Company’s clients. Environments are technically sophisticated, and the DevOps Deployment Engineer will work the Agile Deployment Methodology, custom and commercial tools that are used to manage the environment, automation technologies, monitoring, alerting, and others.

Technologies:

• Must have Cloud experience: AWS
• CI/CD: Git, Docker, Ansible, Jenkins, Jenkinsfile, Gerrit, Maven, Nexus
• Monitoring: VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, Alertmanager, Site24/7
• Logging: ELK
• Network/Security: Big5, Cisco
• OS: Linux/Windows
• Data Processing: NIFI, Flink, Zookeeper
• Databases: MariaDB and SQLServer clusters
• Main products are written in .Net, Java(Spring Cloud)
• Other tools: Kubernetes, Consul cluster, ElastiCache

What You’ll Do:

• Create and maintain deployment scripts for newly implemented features;
• Support and manage multi-environment infrastructure in AWS;
• Collaborate with the Operations team and development teams to manage cross-application environments;
• Monitor system health and proactively troubleshoot cross-application issues;
• Implement customer-driven change requests with close collaboration with client-side DevOps and engineering teams;
• Optimize and reduce costs of environments through efficient resource configuration;
• Use AWS-native tools to improve observability, deployment workflows, and security posture;

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge: Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues;
• Complexity: Works on problems of moderate to advance scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Builds productive internal/external working relationships;
• Supervision: Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments;
