Position Overview
Our client is a leading global institutional investment management firm headquartered in the U.S. (West Coast), managing capital across asset classes and geographies.
The client’s internal platform supports mission-critical workflows across trading, middle office, accounting, tax, investor relations, and compliance. The existing 3-tier system—featuring a Windows client, application server, and database server—offers centralized reference data management and reporting across funds, legal entities, securities, and deals.
The initiative focuses on modernizing this legacy platform by transitioning to a new modular, web-based architecture. The new system consolidates complex workflows into a unified React-based shell application that enables seamless navigation, consistent UX patterns, and scalable module integration.
We are looking for an experienced React Architect to lead the design and implementation of the new web-based platform.
Requirements
Deep expertise in React and modern front-end technologies
Experience in building modular, large-scale enterprise applications
Ability to define and enforce front-end architecture standards, component libraries, and design systems
Strong leadership skills to guide a distributed development team
Excellent communication skills to act as a single point of contact with the client on all front-end technical and innovation matters
Proven track record of driving technical strategy, assessing tools and frameworks, and delivering scalable solutions
What We Offer

Flexible schedule – ability to change projects, to work from home, and to try yourself in different roles

We hire people not for a project, but for the company. If the project (or your work in it) is over, you go to another project or to a paid “Idle”.

Opportunity to work from another DataArt office in a different city or country (temporarily or permanently)
