Junior .NET Developer

We at Anthill, together with CCCIS, are looking for Software Engineer to be a part of the fast-moving, Casualty product team. We are replacing their legacy applications with enterprise-class solutions, supporting millions of transactions and billions of dollars in claims.

As a member of the Engineering team, you will securely design, build, and scale the back-end APIs, databases, integration interfaces, and services in the cloud. You need a passion for complex problems, and enjoy the challenge of operating in sophisticated cloud migrations, integrations, events, and data streaming architectures.

Responsibilities:

• Participation in services design and design review
• Design, create, update, troubleshoot and optimize database queries (T-SQL)
• API exposure and management: create backend microservices used by front end clients
• Make services cloud-ready as a part of large product migration to the cloud (Microsoft Azure)
• Security and data protection -> access/security/privacy
• Custom business logic implementation in back-end services (.NET)
• Manage database instances & database administration

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with C#/ .NET
• Strong experience with relational databases and MS SQL Server
• Familiarity with Web Services, REST APIs
• Familiar with service-oriented architecture and design patterns
• Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Azure platform
• Understanding of CI/CD principles
