Our client:

A prestigious international financial institution with offices globally. The company is expanding a large-scale, multi-year digital transformation, modernizing its IT landscape with a focus on cloud technologies, automation, and engineering excellence. Their technology stack includes Azure Cloud, Kubernetes, microservices, SQL Server, Java, etc. Together, we are looking to expand their team with a new member for the position of: BACK-END JAVA DEVELOPER

This role offers the unique opportunity to join a modern cloud-native engineering environment, responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting the company’s platforms and software solutions. You will play a critical role in designing and developing the company’s infrastructure and software solutions within your value stream.

Some of the essential responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and testing of high-quality software solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
• Perform debugging and troubleshooting to resolve software issues.
• Responsible for code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices for Java development.

Requirements for the role:

• Professional experience with Java (Java 17 or newer) and Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data).
• Experience in developing and optimizing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Excellent knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Working experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-native application development.
• Experience in using relational databases (Azure SQL).
• Hands-on experience with messaging systems like ActiveMQ or Azure Service Bus.
• Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments.
• Extensive working experience in deploying and maintaining applications in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Fluent English.
