Data Scientist

IT-Impulse is expanding to Bulgaria, with an office in Sofia, where we are building a local team of IT specialists. We represent a Software Engineering division of the international company JobImpulse GmbH with more than 9.000 employees in 51 locations in 12 countries. We act as an intermediary between the IT software development department and highly qualified IT specialists on the job market.

IT-Impulse’s offices in Seville (Spain) and Kosice (Slovakia) are the point of contact for IT Outsourcing and Nearshoring.

Job description:

We’re seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join our growing team! If you’re passionate about building intelligent systems, love working with modern Python frameworks, and are comfortable navigating large-scale software projects in a cloud-native environment — we want to hear from you.

Position Details:

Employment Type: Full-Time (5 days/week)
Location: Remote
Language Requirement: English

Required Skills & Experience:

• Python: Strong general-purpose programming experience
• API Development: Experience with FastAPI
• Dependency Management: Comfortable using Poetry or UV
• AI Development: Familiar with RAG, LangGraph, and similar AI concepts
• CI/CD: Working knowledge of GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• Serverless Architecture: Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, Aurora, API Gateway, etc.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with CDK (Python) or other IaC tools
• Software Engineering: Background in large coding projects, with clean, maintainable code
• Containerization: Proficient in Docker
• Version Control: Comfortable with Git & GitLab workflows
• Cloud Platforms: Solid experience with AWS
