GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE JOBFAMILY (IT)
Jobs in this functional discipline provide support to all IT activities within the Technology related activities
within the company. This functional discipline is involved in providing operational or technical support in
developing and operating IT strategy and solutions that deliver best offline and online experience for
customers, employees and internal stakeholders. This includes providing support to the effective and
efficient delivery of IT solutions for Odi the company do stack and the effective and efficient delivery of the IT roadmap.
Tasks also include the administration of the IT infrastructure within an organization, including the
physical network (e.g., LANs/WANs, servers, terminals) as well as server applications and software (e.g.,
PeopleSoft, Oracle).
Technology support functions typically identify, enhance and follow specific processes and procedures to
maximize the efficiencies of the IT department within Od the company ido, providing technical support to engineers and
scientists on a variety of technical tasks. This support group develops and recommends procedures and
methods and prepares technical reports and documentation, performs technical evaluations of events
to determine root cause; eventually recommending corrective action.

o This role is recognized as an expert within its own area within the organization, understanding how own
functional knowledge influences other, directly linked functional areas.

o The jobholder performs its job independently, maybe with guidance in most complex cases, solving
complex judgement based on analytical thought
o Jobholder typically has strong communicating skills to negotiate (internally, externally and often) at
higher levels and business leaders
o The role can be executed by a jobholder with HBO/WO more than 5 years of experience
o Typical for this role is to guide others in resolving complex issues in specialized areas based on existing
solutions and procedures
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / RESULT AREA’S
1. Leadership stakeholder management
Align with multiple business stakeholders on what the issue/opportunity we want to solve.
Flag business requirements that are vague, or not based on clear insights. Giving feedback to
stakeholders, to have value add requirements.
2. Solution Design & Business Analysis:
Analyze and resolve high-impact problems. Provide guidance for long-term solutions. Contribute to

3. Knowledge Architecture and Transfer:
Architect and manage the knowledge framework within the organization, facilitating efficient knowledge
transfer
4. Cost & Quality assessment
Validate that the implemented solution works for organization & customers, and is cost effective
5. Requirements Gathering & Documentation
Clear and detailed business requirements that align with stakeholder needs
Ensures that the development or business process meet the expectation and solve the problems
6. Risk Analysis & Mitigation
Identification of potential risks with proposed mitigation strategies
Reduces the likelihood of project delays or failures by preparing for potential challanges
