About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Architect T24 to join our team in Sofia. In this role, you will drive the application architecture strategy and act as the technical guide for core banking architecture challenges. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to align technology with business goals, design balanced and forward-looking architectural solutions, and define clear roadmaps to support digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical, conceptual, and strategic planning skills, along with a deep understanding of enterprise architecture principles.

Your responsibilities

• Define and lead the application architecture strategy aligned with business goals and technology standards
• Act as the architectural authority for core banking solutions, particularly within the Temenos ecosystem
• Identify opportunities and risks from emerging technologies in collaboration with business stakeholders
• Develop balanced architectural solutions considering technology, business processes, methodologies, planning, and cost-effectiveness
• Define and maintain current and target architecture states, along with actionable roadmaps for transformation
• Ensure alignment between business strategy and IT capabilities across core banking platforms
• Support delivery teams by providing architectural guidance and ensuring adherence to best practices
• Facilitate decision-making processes through critical thinking, strategic planning, and innovative problem-solving
• Promote a collaborative, result-driven environment focused on continuous improvement and architectural excellence

Role’s requirements

• You have minimum of 7+ years experience in the delivery of Temenos core banking application solutions 
• You have a strong technical understanding of the Temenos system architecture allied to an in depth understanding of the business functionalities within the Temenos product suite
• You have in depth knowledge of Temenos payment solution (TPH) and Temenos Arrangement Architecture (AA) for current accounts, loans and deposits 
• You can show a successful track record in designing and delivering Temenos core banking solutions 
• You have practical experience with integration architecture and understand its challenges 
• You have strong consulting skills and industry knowledge spanning multiple domains 
• You have a good verbal and written communication skills in English
