Quality Assurance Specialist

About the role: As a crucial member of the team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional team members to guarantee the delivery of high-quality features and enhancements. Curiosity, willingness to learn and good communication are key for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, Extend, and improve the automated UI and manual test plans and introducing new ones when necessary.
• Proactively suggest improvements to testing plans.
• Analyse documentation, cooperate with the scrum team to understand business requirements and create testable stories and requirements.
• Estimate time required for performing test activities.
• Create test scenarios and test cases – both manual and automated.
• Record defects using bug tracking software, investigate and analyse each problem, track the status of the defect, and verify its resolution during the testing life cycle.
• Participate in all SCRUM ceremonies, e.g., the sprint planning session where plans are made with the entire team and the PO, and the end-of-sprint demonstrations, where the latest innovations are shared with the larger team.
• Be responsible for the quality, working closely together with scrum team members to secure high quality when we release new features.

Experience and Qualifications:  

• Experience with testing web-based applications.
• Experience with automated UI testing using Playwright (preferably with JavaScript or TypeScript).
• Experience with JavaScript – bonus points for TypeScript.
• Experience with project management systems (Jira).
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Working level of English.

Bonus points:

• Experience in Forex/CFDs/Stock trading companies.
• Experience with Web API testing tools (like Postman, Insomnia, etc.).
• Experience working with PlayWright & TypeScript.
• Experience working with Docker/Kubernetes.
