About the role:

We at Anthill, together with CCCIS, are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to be a part of the fast-moving, Casualty product team. As a DevOps you will be responsible for timely delivery of quality outputs across multiple projects going on at the same time. You will manage issues and risks, and communicating deliverable status to project sponsors, internal or external customers, and upper/executive management.

Requirements:

• Planning and defining workflows for iterations, release management and issue tracking.
• Support Code development review, maintain source code management tools, and code merging support.
• Collaborate on Releases and perform change management, release approvals, release automation (moving builds into a release artifact).
• Perform Deployment services, incident management and response in a consultative manner.
• Maintain DevOps Operational environments, automating and using infrastructure as code, ensures appropriate security and access levels to environment tools and resources.
• Monitor and report on application performance and identify issues or quality concerns that could impact end-users
• Scheduling and participating the Decommission of environments and repurposing resources where necessary
• Upgrade and support Elastic Kubernetes Services and Azure Kubernetes Service cluster infrastructure according to GitOps best practices.
• Facilitate the deployment of highly available, recoverable, and scalable microservices to Kubernetes and the deployment of traditional applications to virtual machines behind load balancers.
• Investigate and mitigate issues associated with the performance and security of Kubernetes and DevOps related cloud infrastructure.
• Responsible for designing, building and delivering outputs, contributing to cross-functional activities, attending project meetings, daily stand-ups and retrospectives.
• Technical Experience with full SDLC on software, with Development, Quality Assurance and Release Management processes.
• Document application flows, create architecture and designs, and build knowledge repositories that become the “single source or truth”.

And you possess:

• 6 to 10 years of industry architecture and engineering experience in technology, with at least 5 years in a DevOps role.
• Experience with Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and Continuous testing.
• Experience in a DevOps role focused on containerization, cloud computing.
• Experience with use of pipelines to support matching environments, automated deployment, pipelines, and version control efforts.
• Experience with monitoring and lifecycle management of systems, platforms and pipelines.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships across cross-functional teams and customers.
