What is your new role:
Create, execute and maintain detailed, comprehensive and well-structured manual and automated test plans, test cases, scenarios, scripts and procedures.
Be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of a test environment.
Analyze, describe and track defects within a bug-tracking system.
Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to understand business requirements – review technical specifications and design, and translate them into test cases, maximizing test coverage.
Document test procedures, make sure they are replicable and in compliance with standards.
Be responsible for estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating testing activities.
What it takes:
2+ years of work experience as manual/automation QA in web-based and/or mobile-based environment.
A university-level degree in Information Technology or related fields.
Good understanding and willingness to follow best quality assurance practices
Solid knowledge of software QA/QC methodologies and processes.
Knowledge and understanding of relational databases.
Experience in testing SOAP and REST APIs, scripting experience, using Postman.
A good understanding of SDLC.
Experience working with Agile/Scrum principles, values and processes.
Good communication skills, attention to detail, strong analytical skills.
Ability to self-manage tasks, prioritize and ensure comprehensive testing coverage without the need of constant oversight.
