Application Operations Engineer (Algorithmic Trading Systems) (m/f/diverse)

As part of this strategy, Commerzbank continues the expansion of its Digital Technology Center in Sofia, Bulgaria. We need motivated people who will join us on this journey and we are looking for Application Operations Engineer in our Algorithmic Trading Systems team, and more specifically our Pricing team, to help building the next generation Interest Rates pricer.

Your tasks:

• Participating in incident-, problem-, change, and release management of the application operations;
• Monitoring the infrastructure of the applications and safeguarding application stability;
• Optimizing and improving efficiency of support and applications;
• Being in close collaboration with the development teams;
• Ensuring compliance of the production environment and support processes to the rules & regulations of the bank.

Your profile:

• Professional experience with application operations and maintenance;
• Professional experience with Linux / Unix environments;
• Proficient in Service Management Processes (ITIL)
• Experience working with monitoring tools such as ITRS Geneos, Nagios and/or Tivoli;
• Good understanding of network technologies, market data flows and connectivity technologies;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Willingness to work in an international team and motivation in learning new technologies;
• Fluency in English – both written and spoken;
• University degree in IT or relevant.
