Position Overview
Our client is a global cruise provider offering itineraries to almost 500 destinations around the world. Alongside their cruises, the company also provides hotel and flight booking services.
The goal of the project is to implement a tool to collect different sets of flight pricing data from several sources and store it in a cloud storage system for further data analysis.
In this position you’ll have a chance to contribute to the large complex platform build with microservice approach in mind, interact with other teams working on the project and boost your abilities to contribute to requirements refinement and integrations.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate competence in containerization technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
Possess knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git
Apply experience in network security to enhance project integrity
Work collaboratively in agile methodologies, contributing to the efficient development and delivery of projects
Requirements
5+ years of experience working with Scala
Hands-on experience working with Akka HTTP
Experience with Kafka
Hands-on experience with MySQL DB
Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift
Experience working with Docker
Knowledge of Git
Experience working with network security
Experience with Agile methodologies
