As part of this strategy, Commerzbank continues the expansion of its Digital Technology Center in Sofia, Bulgaria. We need motivated people who will join us on this journey and we are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer in our Business Connectivity team.

In the Competence Center for Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) within the Cluster Business Connectivity, we develop innovative IT infrastructure and software solutions of the next generation. Distributed ledger technology forms the basis for Commerzbank’s forward-looking business models, such as the automation of supply chains for industrial customers, capital markets and the custody of digital assets.

Your tasks:

• Being responsible for the further development and optimization of the existing CI/CD build pipeline solution for our product “Themis”;
• Being responsible for the operational stability and performance of the Themis platform;
• Being responsible for the maintenance and further development of cloud infrastructures for a smooth operation of the software solution;
• Collaborating in an agile team to ensure rapid and iterative improvements;
• Cooperating with our business experts, external partners, other clusters as well as external customers and international cooperation partners in joint DLT initiatives.

Your profile:

• Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes;
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD technologies;
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and their integration (Azure experience is a plus);
• Knowledge of Terraform and Helm Charts;
• Knowledge of supply chain management or payment processing is an advantage;
• TeamCity and Argo CD experience is a plus;
• Knowledge of handling and configuring Keycloak is a plus;
• Conceptual and analytical skills, curiosity to dive deep into complex new technologies/environments;
• Fluency in English;
• University degree in IT or relevant.
