Manpower is partnering with a leading US-based fintech company that offers a sophisticated, all-in-one wealth management platform for financial advisors. With a growing development hub in Sofia, this organization is driving innovation in portfolio management, investment technology, and back-office automation.
We are currently looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join their expert engineering team. This is a hands-on role ideal for a candidate with a strong IT background across development, operations, and system monitoring. You will be instrumental in improving platform reliability, optimizing system performance, and ensuring seamless product delivery in a high-availability environment.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor system availability, performance, and reliability across platforms
Build automated solutions to support observability, maintainability, and security of services
Develop and maintain dashboards that track system health and usage trends
Proactively scale infrastructure capacity and make decommissioning recommendations
Respond to production incidents with a focus on reducing mean time to recovery
Support deployment processes and manage operational risk during system changes
Contribute to performance analysis, capacity planning, and system tuning
Define and monitor service level objectives (SLOs) for systems and workflows
Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to the wider team
Drive knowledge sharing and promote best practices across engineering teams
Identify and address potential issues before they escalate
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
Over 5 years of professional experience in development, QA, and/or operations
Practical experience with system monitoring tools and alerting for microservice architectures
Experience working with Akka and OpenTelemetry for monitoring and tracing
Solid understanding of JVM application monitoring using JMX
Knowledge of enterprise Java frameworks
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively
Experience with CI/CD and deployment management tools
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, distributed environment
