Mario Klaric is looking for a new member for his team.

As an ACS Tools Engineer at A1 Competence Delivery Center, you will be responsible to the managing and optimizing ACS platforms such as HDM (Motive, AVS, Genie), focused on customer premises equipment (CPE), data collection and management.

You will work with protocols such as TR-069, TR-369, and TR-181 to ensure smooth, automated configuration and management of CPE devices. Your role will involve maintaining platform performance, developing automation solutions, and troubleshooting issues to ensure high service quality and customer satisfaction across A1’s networks.

Role insights:

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of ACS platforms (HDM/Motive, AVS, Genie etc.) ensuring their smooth operation for CPE management across both fixed and mobile networks.
• Work with TR protocols (TR-069, TR-369, TR-181) to facilitate automated CPE data collection, device provisioning, and management for a wide range of devices.
• Develop and implement automation solutions using scripting languages (Python, Bash, SQL) to streamline ACS tasks, improve efficiency, and reduce manual efforts.
• Integrate ACS platforms with other network management systems and troubleshoot any issues affecting performance, availability, or customer experience.
• Work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to integrate new solutions and ensure platform scalability to meet business and technical needs.
• Maintain detailed technical documentation for ACS platform setups, protocols, and automated solutions.
• Generate reports to track performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
• Evaluate existing tools and processes, implementing enhancements to increase platform functionality, performance, and resilience.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining high availability and reliability of ACS systems, optimizing user experience, and minimizing disruptions in service delivery.

What makes you unique:

• Proven experience with ACS platforms such as Nokia HDM (Motive, AVS, Genie) or similar, along with a solid understanding of TR-069, TR-369, and TR-181 protocols for CPE device management.
• Familiarity with networking protocols, data technologies, and device management techniques, especially in relation to CPEs and ACS platforms.
• Strong experience in programming or scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or SQL.Ability to create custom scripts to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
• Solid experience working with Linux systems and their administration (e.g., RHEL), including troubleshooting and configuration management.
• Experience in developing automated solutions to enhance network management and streamline operational processes.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify root causes of issues and quickly implement effective solutions.
• Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to travel occasionally within the A1 Group’s footprint for project coordination or troubleshooting.
