Drooms is looking for a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer (fixed-term contract for maternity leave cover).
Your tasks
Reviewing requirements, providing feedback, and verifying the logic for implementation
Designing and creating test plans and test cases, automating them, where applicable, with E2E and API test scripts using Cypress and TypeScript, following BDD practices with Cucumber and Gherkin
Executing, monitoring, and improving test scripts and test suites on various levels/environments
Participating in technical discussions with the developers and coordinating joint test activities
Investigating customer issues, and reporting and tracking of software bugs
Evaluating test processes and implementing enhancements together with the team
Your Profile
A minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, with a proven track record of testing web applications
At least 2 years of experience in independently developing automated tests
Experience with manual testing techniques and methodologies
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and tools, such as Jira and Xray
Strong analytical skills to identify defects and contribute to their resolution
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and document test results
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments.
