Senior Linux System Administrator (m/f/d)

Infopulse, part of Tietoevry Create, is inviting a talented professional to join our growing team as a Senior Linux System Administrator who will participate in different operational and implementation tasks within IT infrastructure of BICS.

You have experience with Linux (Redhat) workloads on hyperconverged infrastructure and tuning of the OS and application stack for the best possible performance and resilience.

You are able to leverage those foundational skills in an environment where combining multiple skills to deliver projects end-to-end within the team is required.

You will be joining an international team of engineers supporting the entire datacenter stack from switching all the way to OS layer and cloud deployments.

Areas of Responsibility

• Take technical leadership & engineering ownership around multiple IT infrastructure components:
  • Enterprise Backup Solutions
  • Virtualization platforms: VMware
  • Linux
  • Hyperconverged infrastructure, SAN Fabric & SAN Storage
  • Automation
• Deliver design for new solutions taking into account the technical requirements, the business requirements & the TCO aspects.
• Deliver extension / improvement design of the existing infrastructure & solutions based on latest capacity growth, delivered performance and based on future evolution forecasts)
• Manage the systems lifecycle (supplier roadmap evaluation, trigger new sw upgrades or system replacements)

Qualifications

• Strong experience in system administration, design, implementation and maintenance of infrastructure solutions:
  • Virtualization platforms: VMware.
  • Hyperconverged Infrastructure : HPE Synergy & HPE Primera Storage
  • OS administration: Redhat
  • Performance tuning
