About the role:

This is an onsite based role in our myPOS office. 

What you’ll do:

• Create, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI, ensuring data is presented in a clear and actionable format
• Analyse large datasets, identify and report risk trends, deliver meaningful insights to support strategic decision-making, querying data in GCP BigQuery when needed
• Monitor data related to risk operations such as transaction limits, fraud rates, chargebacks, performance of transaction monitoring rules.
• Identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies. Provide actionable recommendations to improve false positive rates, response times, case resolution, and customer experience.
• Develop and maintain performance reports, dashboards, and KPIs, ensuring accurate tracking of key operational metrics
• Implement best practices in data modeling, DAX calculations, and performance optimisations in order to streamline report performance
• Stay up to date with the latest Power BI features, data visualisation trends, and industry best practices, applying them to enhance reporting capabilities.
• Assist with projects and tasks as assigned, such as regulatory audits and examinations, internal audits, etc.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address data inconsistencies, ensuring data integrity and reliability in all reports and dashboards

This role is perfect for you if you have: 

• 2-5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting roles
• Proficiency in Power BI, including experience with DAX and data visualisation techniques
• Strong knowledge of SQL for querying and manipulating data
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex datasets and provide actionable insights
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain data findings to non-technical stakeholders
• A proactive and collaborative approach to working in a cross-functional team environment
• Familiarity with data lakes, data warehouses and cloud platforms (preferably GCP)
• Experience with risk processes and regulatory reporting
• Strong knowledge of transaction processing rules and card scheme standards
• Fluent in English.
