We’re inviting applications for a Java Developer role. 

Join us to develop the cutting-edge KateCoin solution, in a collaborative effort with our teams across Europe, including our Belgium division. Our expertise spans modern microservices architectures, cloud security, and automated, high-performance deployment processes. 

The Java Developer  will be instrumental in evolving our infrastructure and application development. 

This role involves deploying new APIs, enhancing Java microservices within EKS on AWS, and ensuring robust integration with ČSOB Slovakia’s on-premise systems via BankAPI. 

As our Java Developer, you would have the following responsibilities: 

• Enhance and maintain Java microservices architectures within AWS environments. 
• Ensure seamless integration of cloud services with traditional banking systems.
• Optimize and monitor performance across applications and infrastructure. 
• Collaborate closely with our international teams, maintaining daily communications and code reviews on GitHub. 
• Drive innovations in our deployment processes, with a strong emphasis on automation and operational efficiencies. 

Key competences that will help you succeed: 

• Minimum 4 years of Java development; 
• Proficient in Java 17, Spring Boot; 
• Experienced with Kubernetes; 
• Knowledgeable in PostgreSQL and other relational database systems; 
• Excellent problem-solving abilities; 
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills, suitable for an international, collaborative environment; 

A significant advantage would be to have: 

• Experience in Cloud environment (focus on AWS – AWS API Gateway, messaging services like SNS/SQS, and Kafka.)
