Business Analyst (for Energy/Electricity software)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst (BA). The successful candidate will be

responsible for creating user stories and updating existing ones based on high-level requirements.

The BA will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, document requirements, and ensure that the development team has clear criteria to work from. Strong analytical skills, effective

communication, and experience with Agile methodologies are essential for this role.

Experience:

 Collecting technical and business requests, user requirements management;

 Creating and updating user stories based on high level requirements;

 Communication with Stakeholders, PM, R&D Managers, Head of BA, Software Architects and QAs;

 3+ years of PO/Business Analyst or similar position, involved in analytical solving of business problems preferably with some exposure to utilities (energy/electricity or similar utilities)

 Working through all phases of the life cycle of a product, making sure information and feedback flow between business and user; 

 Substantial experience in delivering projects of various sizes and functional complexity;

 Sound knowledge of project lifecycle from initiation to implementation and supporting program management;

 Capable of documenting standard operating procedures.

Plus:

 Good knowledge and understanding of relational databases and data structures organization;

 Proficient in strategic functional architecture and its analysis and management;

 Flawless usage of Wireframing/prototyping tools like AxureRP, Balsamiq or Sketch or similar;

 Working on projects in regulated industries;

 Experience with data modeling and statistics.

 Good German is  a strong advantage

 Knowledge of Energy market/ Energy trading/ business analysis related to energy/utilities sector / ETRM/ similar  is a very strong advantage

Skills:

 Very experienced in writing and updating user stories, functional specifications, project requirements documents, and other documents required for your project;

 Have a precise eye for detail, usability

 Able to create and define effective User Journeys in regard to the project requirements;

 Flowless communication with stakeholders and engineers, documenting and clarifying each side’s perspective;

 In-depth understanding of the software development life cycle;

 Capable of identifying business needs and determining solutions to business problem
