What you’ll be working on?

You’ll be developing sophisticated mobile applications that seamlessly blend performance and visual appeal across platforms. Your work will involve creating applications that feature stunning visuals, responsive interfaces, and optimized performance—even on less powerful devices. You’ll be implementing custom shaders, creating visual effects, and ensuring smooth performance across the entire user experience.

Your Role

As a Senior Unity Developer, you’ll architect and implement core systems, develop engaging features from scratch, and translate designs into responsive UI components. You’ll optimize performance across devices, integrate technical art elements with custom shaders and VFX, and collaborate across disciplines while maintaining clean code. Most importantly, you’ll take ownership of technical challenges, identifying risks and implementing solutions proactively.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on Unity development with C#
• Proven track record of developing mobile apps with strong performance optimization skills for iOS and Android
• Tech art expertise: Custom shaders (HLSL/Shader Graph), VFX, and procedural content generation
• Experience with performance tuning: Proficiency in profiling, batching, memory management, and optimizing frame rates across devices
• Networking knowledge: Understanding of client-server interactions and experience with real-time server-based apps
• UI/UX implementation skills: Ability to build interactive, responsive UI using Unity UI and Canvas
• REST API integration: Familiarity with connecting Unity apps to external services
• Version control experience: Strong command of Git (branching, merging, and maintaining clean commit histories)

Nice to have:

• Experience with AR/VR development
• Knowledge of 3D modeling and animation tools
• Experience with Unity’s new DOTS (Data-Oriented Technology Stack)
• Understanding of game design principles

What does the interview process look like?

Initial Interview: We’ll start with a friendly 45-minute cultural and technical interview. Two members of our team will assess your cultural fit, past experience, and engineering expertise, the major challenges you’ve tackled, and discuss your ideal workspace.

You can choose between two Technical Deep Dive options:

Homework Assignment: If there’s a match, we’ll provide a brief homework assignment designed to take around 2 hours to complete. This will be followed by a 1-hour technical interview to discuss the homework and conduct a technical deep dive.

Pair Programming: If you prefer not to do a homework assignment, we’ll have a 2-hour technical deep dive session, primarily focused on pair programming.

Regardless of the outcome, we will provide you with constructive feedback to help you grow.
