We are now looking for an experienced and motivated professional for the position of Release manager.

If you have:

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other field of Information
• A minimum of three years in release management or a professional senior technical role such as technical lead, dev. team lead or other hands-on leadership role in software development or design.
• Knowledge of ITSM best practices with the demonstrated ability to incorporate ITSM processes, functions and tools into solution scope, cost, and schedule.
• Demonstrated deep understanding and experience with:
• Change management and release management process
• Planning and managing release activities in various environments
• Source code repositories (i.e. Bitbucket, GIT), ServiceNow, JIRA
• Knowledge of version control systems, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and release control
• Ability to define, maintain and enhance release management process.
• Expertise of software development methodologies.
• Very good command of English language.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to lay audiences. Some experience working with board level stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude, strong conceptual and analytical skills – demonstrating outside-the-box problem solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and within time constrains.

• Define and maintain release management process and deployment strategies, constantly enhance new opportunities and best practices.
• Oversee all aspects of the release management lifecycle and process.
• Plan, schedule, coordinate the process of releasing software updates, new software versions, or systems.
• Coordinate and communicate with various departments to schedule delivery dates, communicating necessary release details to business and technical teams. Serve as main point of contact for release activities ensuring alignment between different teams.
• Mainatain release management documentation. Validate release notes and readiness for production deployment.
• Monitor and control the deployment process to ensure a successful release. Collaborate with operations teams to address any issues that arise during deployment and confirm that each modifications are properly integrated into environments.
• Identify, assess and manage dependencies and risks associated with software releases. Mitigate dangers related to releases.
