Senior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join one of our teams – DevOps Hub.

Nemetschek Bulgaria‘s DevOps Hub is where IT professionals can craft and fine-tune their DevOps skills.

The Hub is a special company structure related to all DevOps practices, infrastructure and architecture, providing specific training in DevOps technologies and in-depth expertise, know-how and tips.

YOUR DAILY CHALLENGES

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable systems across multiple cloud platforms;
• Develop automation tools and scripts using Python;
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability and performance.

OUR EXPECTATIONS

• Proven experience with multiple cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.). At least worked with one of the cloud providers intensively in a production environment;
• Contributed to IaC codebases (Terraform) daily for production usage.
• Proficiency in writing Dockerfiles and building images.
• Experience in Kubernetes or container orchestration tools (e.g. ECS/AKS/OpenShift/etc.).
• Proficiency in CI/CD automation tools (e.g., GitHub, Jenkins, Argo Workflows, Gitlab Pipeline).
• Experience in configuring Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs) or equivalent, with a strong understanding of network traffic management.
• Experience in configuring Identity and Access Management (IAM) on cloud platforms, adhering to the principle of least privilege.
• Capable of working with various Linux distributions and Shell/Bash scripts (e.g., Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, for example Python;
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail;
• A proactive mindset and a passion for continuous improvement;
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science studies;
• Fluent in English.

CONSIDERED A PLUS

• Familiarity with cloud monitoring systems (e.g., Grafana with Prometheus, Datadog).
• Familiarity with logging systems (e.g. ELK stack/Grafana Loki/Greylog/etc.)
• Understanding of SLA/SLO/SLI and SRE terminologies;
