We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and enhance system performance. This role requires expertise in cloud platforms, container orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) methodologies to ensure continuous delivery and system reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure on AWS, focusing on high availability, fault tolerance, and auto-scaling.

• Container Orchestration: Proficiently manage and scale applications using Kubernetes, ensuring efficient deployment, scaling, and operational stability.

• CI/CD Pipeline Development: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for various development teams, ensuring seamless integration and deployment processes.

• Monitoring and Optimization: Implement and manage comprehensive monitoring solutions to ensure system performance and reliability.

• Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with development teams to optimize deployment strategies and support application development cycles.

• Disaster Recovery and Backup: Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans, including regular backups and failover strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.

• Security Management: Ensure infrastructure security compliance, including managing access controls, security patches, and regular security audits.

Tech Expectations:

• Cloud Expertise: Extensive experience with AWS services and tools.

• Containerization and Orchestration: Strong Kubernetes skills for managing and scaling applications. Experience with Flux, Customize, and Helm is a plus.

• Infrastructure as Code: Strong experience in Terraform for automating cloud infrastructure.

• Messaging Systems: Experience with managing and optimizing Kafka.

• Version Control Systems: Proficient in using GitHub for source code management and versioning.

• Scripting and Automation: Strong scripting skills to automate routine tasks and deployments.

• Build Tools: Experience with Maven and npm/yarn package managers for building and managing projects.

• Linux Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Linux-based systems.

• Web Server Management: Strong experience in managing web servers such as Nginx and Apache, particularly in a containerized environment.

• Network Topology & Traffic Management – Expertise in designing and managing network topologies, VPCs, subnets, and security groups, as well as optimizing load balancing, service mesh (Istio, Linkerd), and network policies for secure and efficient traffic flow.

• Monitoring Tools: Required experience with Grafana and Loki for system monitoring and logging.

• CI/CD Tools: Previous experience with Jenkins, Travis CI, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions is appreciated.
