    The Team

    Our Business Operations group is a key part of the Technology department, driving strategic initiatives and operational excellence. We manage Tools, Data, and Strategic Programs, developing data pipelines that power analytics for engineering, product delivery, profitability, and more. We also optimize key operational tools and integrations for maximum efficiency. Additionally, we lead the AI Program, implementing advanced analytics and AI capabilities. Our current priorities include automating Product P&Ls,adopting state-of-the-art analytics solutions, and conducting an organization-wide data review, all to fuel growth and technological evolution.

    Role Summary

    We’re looking for a motivated individual to join our Analytics team as an Intern Analytics Engineer. In this hybrid role, you’ll operate at the intersection of data engineering and data analytics, contributing to both back-end data pipelines and front-end BI solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with a Senior Data Analyst and an Analytics Solution. Lead to support them on day-to-day tasks and high-impact, strategic projects. During this internship, a significant focus (pending approval) will be on a full analytics infrastructure migration to Microsoft Fabric—experience or enthusiasm for Microsoft Fabric is a big plus.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Data Pipeline Support:Collaborate on developing and maintaining ETL processes to ensure data accuracy, quality, and accessibility for analytics.
    • Data Modeling & Architecture:Assist in designing and optimizing database structures (e.g., star schemas, fact/dimension tables) to improve reporting and analysis.
    • Dashboard & Report Creation:Partner with the Analytics Solution Lead and Senior Data Analyst to build user-friendly BI dashboards, including potential prototypes within Microsoft Fabric.
    • Microsoft Fabric Project (pending approval):Contribute to planning and executing the migration of our analytics infrastructure to Fabric, exploring its data warehousing, AI, and visualization capabilities.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration:Support broader analytics initiatives, working closely with various teams to gather requirements and provide data-driven insights.
    • Continuous Improvement:Conduct research on emerging tools, best practices, and technologies, proactively suggesting ways to enhance data processes and analytics approaches.
    • Support with admin activities to maintain and manage key operational tools.

    Essential Skills and Experience

    • Background: Recent graduate or someone seeking a career change into data analytics/engineering.

    Technical Skills:

    • Basic understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines and exposure to data modeling concepts.
    • Familiarity with BI/analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.). Experience with Microsoft Fabric or other advanced analytics platforms is a plus.
    • Knowledge in AI, machine learning, or script-based transformations (e.g., Python, SQL) is advantageous.

    Soft Skills:

    • Can-Do Attitude: Driven to find solutions, no matter the complexity.
    • Time & Task Management: Able to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines.
    • Team Collaboration: Comfortable working closely with peers and senior staff.
    • Communication: Proficiency in English (written and verbal) is essential.

    Mindset: Eagerness to learn, ability to adapt quickly, and openness to feedback.
