In our capacity as a data controller, We process personal data in compliance with the requirements of good faith, legality and transparency. We strive to ensure an adequate level of protection of your personal data and to process it only for purposes permitted by law and by means permitted by law. We process personal data that is relevant, accurate and limited to the purposes for which it was collected.

Why We collect personal data?
We process personal data when you interact with Us or take advantage of the features that our website (the “Website” www.h512.com) offers, e.g. profile registration, registration and participation in an event or a game/giveaway organized by DEV.BG, participation in a survey, subscription to an information bulletin, inclusion in a user group or use of the opportunity to more quickly and easily find and apply for open positions from employers in the IT sector in Bulgaria and abroad, which We offer as functionality through the Job Board.

* The registration form for an event can exceptionally be filled in on paper – on the spot during the relevant event (if there are free seats). In cases where children are also present at the event, a declaration shall be filled out in relation to Art. 8, para. 3 and para. 4 of the Child Protection Act.
The fields in the forms marked with * are mandatory, which means that without their completion it is impossible to provide the relevant service or part of it.
The provision of personal data in the ways above depends solely on you and your intention to register your profile, participate in the relevant event as a visitor, be our guest speaker, participate in the relevant survey, receive a newsletter, leave us a comment, decide to take advantage of the functionalities that the Job Board offers, etc.

On our website, We do not collect special categories of personal data, e.g. data related to your state of health, data related to convictions and offenses or data revealing your racial or ethnic origin, political views, religious or philosophical beliefs, membership of trade unions, genetic data, biometric data, etc.
We use Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc. cookies that help us collect and analyse aggregated and anonymized data related to the visit and use of our website. We do not have access to personal data that could be collected and processed by Facebook or Google, or that they already have when you visit their platforms or use their applications and functionalities. You can manage your preferences through the options our website offers, the means provided by Facebook and Google, including through the settings of your browsers and devices. For what purposes We collect and process personal data?

The registration of a user profile by natural persons allows easy application and management of applications, participation in events, subscriptions, etc. Personal data is also used for the purposes of establishing contact and correspondence in connection with the requested service. |

| Registration and participation in an event as a visitor | Event registration allows you to be admitted to the relevant event, held online or on-site (events are of two types – paid and free, and a registration mode has been introduced for the purpose of better organization and optimization of planning). Your personal data is used to verify on-site or online through lists or other similar means that you are among the registered participants and to issue a visitor pass (where applicable) for you. We also use the data provided during registration for: – administering your participation, which includes: sending a reminder message about the upcoming event; sending a feedback message to registered users, including those who did not attend the event, about their opinion of the event or the reason that prevented them, in order to better plan and provide different opportunities in the future and information about the next similar event; – sending messages about upcoming events (if a desire for this is explicitly expressed during registration); – statistical purposes – We perform internal anonymized analyses of event attendance, regularity of attendance, type of audience in order to improve the organization and program of future events. The processing results contain only aggregated and anonymized data, which are not personal within the meaning of national and European legislation; – participation in our Loyalty Program – We process data related to the number of your visits to events organized by Us in order to include you in the Loyalty Program, which aims to do something special for you as our users, e.g. additional discounts, etc. We use the data obtained during your participation for: – conducting and administering the event; – statistical purposes – We perform internal anonymized analyses of event attendance, regularity of attendance, type of audience in order to improve the organization and program of future events. The results of the processing contain only aggregated and anonymized data, which are not personal within the meaning of national and European legislation. |
| Participation as our guest speaker | Personal data collected through public sources, through referral or through our communication with you, We use for the purpose of your participation as our guest speaker for current and future events. We use the data obtained during your participation for: – conducting and administering the event; – statistical purposes – We perform internal anonymized analyses of event attendance, regularity of attendance, type of audience in order to improve the organization and program of future events. The processing results contain only aggregated and anonymized data, which are not personal within the meaning of national and European legislation; – follow-up contact with you in relation to our other events or initiatives. |

Your personal data is not used to make automated decisions about you, including profiling you.
Email addresses collected through the various web forms could be used for general ad targeting purposes. For example, within a given social network you will be able to see information related to our upcoming events and initiatives. Through the appropriate settings that the social network provides to you, you may request that an ad be stopped from being displayed to you.
What is the applicable lawful basis for processing your personal data?
Your personal data is processed based on the following legal grounds under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

| Standard and premium user profile registration by legal entities | The processing of the personal data of the legal representatives is necessary for the purposes of complying with a legal obligation in connection with the administration of the legal relations between the parties – the Accounting Act, the Act on Obligations and Contracts, etc. The processing of the personal data of employees, and other persons acting as contact persons for the user, it is necessary for the purposes of our legitimate business interests related to the performance of the services. |
| Use of the Job Board by applicants | The processing of applicants’ personal data is necessary for the performance of a contract with Us to which the applicant is a party, or for taking steps prior to the conclusion of such a contract. The processing for our statistical purposes is based on your consent by choosing to apply for the relevant job advertisement. |
| Registration and participation in an event without an account (speakers and visitors) | The processing of personal data of visitors and lecturers is based on consent through registration and participation in the relevant event. |

In addition to the performance of a contract or your consent, in some cases, the processing is necessary for the purposes of our legitimate business interests arising from our established relationships, for example in our relationships with users – legal entities, preparation of summary analyses of the results of our commercial activity and the optimization of our advertising campaigns, applying the necessary measures to protect your personal data. In other cases, processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation that is applicable to our business.
For the avoidance of doubt, DEV.BG is not an intermediary and does not carry out employment mediation activities within the meaning of the current legislation in relation to the functionality provided to users through the Job Board. The decision to take advantage of the functionalities that the Job Board offers by quickly and easily submitting a resume and cover letter to active postings is your responsibility and your own risk.
DEV.BG is not involved in the selection of candidates or subsequent communication and negotiation of terms between companies with open positions in the IT sector and professionals looking for a job through the Job Board. By offering you this functionality, We are not a party to your relationship with current and future employers or recruitment agencies (the “Agencies”) on whose advertisements you choose to apply through the Job Board and process your personal data only with your consent or for the purposes of the fulfilment of our general conditions to which you are a party when using our services.
You understand and agree that when you apply through the Job Board, We will provide the same amount of data that you have provided to Us through the web form on Our Website to the potential employers or agencies of your choice for the purpose of registering your application and receiving it with the Employer /agency in the ways described above, including by sharing your personal data with relevant employers/agencies by email and/or through software systems. You are aware and with your application you agree that for the performance of the service DEV.BG shares your personal data with employers and agencies that, in their capacity as individual data controllers, will process your personal data for the purposes of hiring employees for the position you have selected.
In the event that you have questions about how, on what basis and for what purposes, employers and agencies process your personal data, We recommend that you read the privacy policy/notice of the relevant employer or agency. In the event that you have questions about your rights and the protection of your personal data by the employers or agencies to which your application will be submitted, and you do not find the information you need, you can write to Us to help you.
In case you want to receive job announcements or other information from employers and agencies, you can subscribe to the relevant Job Board newsletter. Subscription is voluntary and by pressing the relevant functional button, We will consider that you agree to the processing of your personal data for the purposes of receiving informational materials and newsletters.
Categories of personal data recipients
We do not share your personal data to third parties about which you are not informed. Your personal data will be processed by our employees, contractors or data processors, among which in particular are providers of cloud services in the field of hosting, file storage, CRM and Email services. For the purposes of registration of events organized by Us, We work with Weems and Hopin. For the purposes of conducting and recording events, administering participants and user sessions, We use Zoom and Hotjar.
We only work with reputable suppliers who provide sufficient guarantees for the implementation of appropriate technical and organizational measures in such a way that the processing takes place in accordance with the requirements of the GDPR and ensures the protection of your rights as data subjects.

Transfer of data to recipients in third countries
We store your personal data on a server in Bulgaria. In cases where some of our service providers or companies – employers or employment agencies whose advertisements you apply to are located in countries outside the EU/EEA and those countries are considered not to provide an adequate level of personal data protection compared to the EU, We enter into standard contractual clauses for the transfer of data with these service providers and companies – employers or employment agencies. In this way, your rights and personal data are protected. For more information and a copy of the standard contract clauses, you can write to Us and We will provide them to you.
Period of storage of personal data
Personal data will be stored until the purposes for which they were collected are achieved or until you withdraw your consent to their processing. Your personal data related to the Job Board that you choose to store in your profile for future use, including resume etc. documents you can update or delete at any time through your account.
In cases where We have to comply with a law that applies to Us and requires the processing of your personal data for a certain period, or the data is necessary in connection with the establishment of or defence against legal claims, We will process the personal data until the expiry of the required period or until the settlement of the respective claims.
We may also store data in an aggregated and anonymized form so that it is not considered personal within the meaning of applicable national and European legislation.
Security and protection of personal data
We take the necessary technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized actions, including loss and unauthorized access. More specifically, the measures include limiting access to your personal data on a need-to-know basis, choosing reliable partners and suppliers, training those responsible for processing your personal data and complying with good practices, guidelines and protection of personal data guidelines by the competent supervisory authorities.
All measures are subject to regular review and are periodically updated. In the event of a breach of the security of your personal data, We will notify you without undue delay after becoming aware of it if the breach of the security of personal data is likely to result in a high risk to your rights and freedoms.
